Statistics come out regularly that show the population searches for local businesses on-line more than any other way. Yet an article in Bank of America’s Business 24/7 magazine this month suggests some small-business owners remain hesitant to create an online presence because they fear the technical issues involved.

You can update your own Web site. At least, the text portion, anyway. And that’s the most important for small businesses, anyway. Why have the monthly expense of paying someone else to add that new paragraph on your home page when you could do it yourself.
